I received my package, and read through the simple instructions for use and began to use them strictly for the muscle condition they provide. I decided to us the beginner instructions (one bead) to start with, and inserted it with a good amount of lubricant. The weighted beads shift with your movements, so the muscles work to keep it in and you do not have to even think about it!

They do not get “lost” inside the vagina, and there is a handle for removal. The balls are too big to actually go in the uterus because of the cervix; the same reasons why you can use tampons. After about fifteen minutes of activity, remove the ball and clean for the next use with warm water and antibacterial soap and let dry. They are made of plastic and silicone so this is perfectly safe to do. (if you want to use them for more than fifteen minutes- go ahead- that is just a suggestion). Start with the lightest weight and as you get used to them, add the second ball. They should not interfere with urination at all. Make sure you use a water based lubricant for ease of use and clean up afterwards. Luna Beads are suggested as anal toys, but this is not recommended, it is better to purchase other anal toys specifically made for that use.

I have had very good results with the kegels and using the beads to add more to the workout my internal muscles get, and have not had one incident of stress incontinence since the third week of daily use. So they do work! Even if this is the only benefit you get (there are others) they are worth the money. My husband noticed the other benefits when we had intercourse and I got a remark of “OH seems like you are much tighter!” I had to burst his bubble by telling him it wasn’t from HIS getting bigger.

So over all, Luna Beads are a worthy purchase even just for the health benefits!
